Gitarijada Zaječar

The Zaječar Guitar Festival (Gitarijada) is the oldest rock festival in Serbia and one of the oldest in Europe, with a tradition spanning more than half a century. It is famous for its demo-band competition, which has launched many groups now well known.

Alongside the contest, every August Gitarijada brings big names from the domestic and regional rock scene. For lovers of guitar music, it is something of a pilgrimage.
