Drvengrad (Mećavnik)
Über die Unterkunft
Drvengrad (Mećavnik) is a traditional ethno village built by director Emir Kusturica on Mokra Gora, famous for its wooden architecture and the Küstendorf film festival. This fairy-tale settlement of log cabins offers a unique experience of tradition, combined with a ride on the famous Šargan Eight — a heritage railway that climbs through tunnels and over bridges. Drvengrad has a special spirit: log cabins, ethno homesteads and rooms, many serving home cooking and rakija. The surroundings offer untouched nature between Tara and Zlatibor. Browse the accommodation on Mokra Gora and in Drvengrad and plan a stay in one of the most beautiful regions of Serbia.
