Tršić is a heritage ethno site and the birthplace of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, the reformer of the Serbian language and alphabet, near Loznica. At its centre is the restored birth house of Vuk Karadžić, surrounded by buildings depicting rural life of the late 18th century. Each year it hosts Vuk's Assembly, the oldest cultural event in Serbia, and nearby is the medieval Tronoša Monastery.
