The Drina is one of Serbia's most beautiful rivers — emerald green, fast, and surrounded by the pristine nature of Tara and the Podrinje region. It is best known for rafting through its canyon and for the famous little house on the rock near Bajina Bašta, one of the most photographed sights in the country. Every summer the Drina Regatta gathers thousands of rafts and boats in the biggest river party in the Balkans. The riverbanks are lined with beaches, cottages and ethno homesteads, with Lake Perućac and Tara National Park within easy reach.
