Žiča Monastery
Über die Unterkunft
Žiča near Kraljevo is recognisable by its crimson façade. Built by Stefan the First-Crowned and Saint Sava in the early 13th century, it was the seat of Serbia's first archbishopric and the coronation place of seven Serbian kings. Today it is a convent with a living monastic community, just 5 km from Kraljevo and close to Vrnjačka Banja.
