Nušićijada

Nušićijada is a carnival of humour and good cheer, inspired by the work of the great comedy writer Branislav Nušić, held every August in Ivanjica. The town turns into a stage — with costumes, a parade, plays and street scenes in the spirit of Nušić's era.

Cheerful, witty and unique, Nušićijada brings together visitors of all generations. It is a feast that celebrates laughter and the legacy of Serbia's greatest comedy writer.
