Sabor trubača u Guči

The Guča Trumpet Festival (Dragačevo Assembly) is the biggest and most famous brass-band festival in the world. Every August this small village in western Serbia becomes the global capital of brass music — orchestras from Serbia and abroad compete for the prestigious Golden Trumpet, while trumpets blare, traditional kolo dances spin and lamb roasts on the spit around the clock.

Guča is far more than a concert: it is a blend of competition, fair, folk costume, local food and an atmosphere that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors. Those who experience it once keep coming back — it is unforgettable.
