Vukov sabor

Vuk's Assembly (Vukov sabor) is the oldest cultural event in Serbia, dedicated to Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, the reformer of the Serbian language and alphabet. It is held every September in his birthplace of Tršić near Loznica, in a beautiful ethno setting.

The assembly gathers tens of thousands of visitors with a ceremonial programme, folklore, folk creativity and homage to a giant of Serbian culture. A visit to Vuk's birth house and the Tronoša Monastery completes the experience.
