Kupusijada

Kupusijada is an event dedicated to cabbage and traditional Šumadija cuisine, held every November in Mrčajevci near Čačak. The famous Mrčajevci cabbage is cooked in large pots and its aroma spreads through the whole village.

Alongside tastings and a cooking contest, the event features a fair, folklore and merriment. It is a warm, homely feast celebrating a simple yet unforgettable dish.
