Kalenić Monastery
About
Kalenić near Rekovac is considered the finest example of the Morava style for the richness of its stone carving — rosettes, interlace and figural reliefs cover the whole façade. It is the endowment of the protovestiarios Bogdan, from the first half of the 15th century. The monastery lies in the quiet, wooded valley of Levač.
