Ravanica Monastery
About
Ravanica near Ćuprija was built in 1377 as the endowment of Prince Lazar and is the forerunner of the Morava style in Serbian architecture — alternating rows of stone and brick with rich carved decoration. The relics of Saint Prince Lazar rest here. It stands at the foot of the Kučaj mountains, beside the Ravanica spring.
