Banja Koviljača is one of the most beautiful and oldest spa towns in Serbia, set on the banks of the Drina below Mount Gučevo, near Loznica. Known for its healing sulphur and iron waters and lavish park, it has a long royal tradition.

Its thermo-mineral and sulphur waters are used to treat rheumatic conditions and for rehabilitation, along with medicinal mud. The heart of the spa is its grand landscaped park, one of the finest in Serbia.

Nearby are Mount Gučevo, Loznica and the birthplace of Vuk Karadžić in Tršić. Accommodation includes hotels, apartments and villas. Banja Koviljača is about two hours from Belgrade via Šabac and Loznica.
