Niška Banja: the heart of the south and its healing waters

Niška Banja is one of the best-known spas in southern Serbia, set near Niš at the foot of Mount Koritnik. Known for its healing thermo-mineral water and pleasant climate, it has attracted visitors for centuries, with remains dating back to Roman times.

Its mildly radioactive, mineral-rich waters are used to treat heart and circulatory conditions and rheumatism. The proximity of Niš combines spa calm with city sights — the Fortress, Ćele Kula and Mediana.

Accommodation includes hotels, apartments and villas. Niška Banja is about two and a half hours from Belgrade by motorway, just ten kilometres from the centre of Niš.
