Soko Banja is one of Serbia''s most famous and most visited spa towns, set in the valley of the Moravica between the Ozren and Rtanj mountains. Known for its healing thermal springs and exceptionally clean air, it earned the nickname "air spa".

Its thermal waters, from 28 to 45 degrees, are used to treat respiratory, rheumatic and nervous conditions. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the town has a microclimate that especially suits people with asthma.

The surroundings offer hiking on Mount Rtanj, the Lepterija picnic spot, the medieval Sokograd fortress and the Ripaljka waterfall. Accommodation ranges from spa hotels to apartments and guesthouses. Soko Banja is about three hours from Belgrade and lively year-round.
