Čačak is a lively city in western Serbia, in the West Morava valley, known for its relaxed spirit, good food and proximity to one of the most beautiful gorges in the country.

Its main attraction is the Ovčar-Kablar gorge, carved by the West Morava between the Ovčar and Kablar mountains. Known as the "Serbian Mount Athos", it hides ten monasteries, viewpoints, meanders and the Ovčar Banja spa. A boat ride through the gorge is unforgettable. Nearby is the Gornja Trepča spa with healing water.

Accommodation includes hotels and apartments. Čačak is about 1.5–2 hours from Belgrade by motorway.
