Divčibare: an air spa near Belgrade

Divčibare is one of the most accessible and beloved mountain destinations in central Serbia. Set on the Maljen plateau at around 980 metres, it is known for its mild climate, wide meadows and pine forests, earning it the nickname "air spa".

Its gentle terrain makes it ideal for families and older guests. Walking and cycling trails lead through pine woods to viewpoints over the valley. In winter it is popular for sledding and beginner skiing, and in summer for its cool, fresh air.

Accommodation ranges from hotels to apartments, mountain villas and ethno homesteads. Divčibare is only about two hours from Belgrade via Valjevo, perfect for a weekend or a longer stay.
